Nicole Feliciano is the founder of The Ski Moms, a community of more than 30,000 women who love winter, adventure, and connecting with other women on and off the mountain. A late-blooming skier herself, Nicole brings a welcoming, relatable perspective to mountain life through Ski Moms trips, the Ski Moms Podcast, and her love of helping women feel at home in the outdoors.
A lifelong New Yorker and former Ralph Lauren buyer, Nicole Feliciano has always loved style, travel, and a good adventure. But becoming a mom completely changed the direction of her career. In 2007, after the birth of her first daughter, she left the corporate fashion world to launch Momtrends—a place for women who wanted to embrace motherhood without losing their sense of style, curiosity, or fun.
Nicole didn’t learn to ski until she was 32. She’ll happily admit that she’s often the last person in her family to reach the bottom of the mountain—but that hasn’t stopped her from falling completely in love with winter. After her family began splitting their time between New York and Vermont, skiing became less of a vacation and more of a way of life.
Both of Nicole’s daughters attended Green Mountain Valley School and raced on snow, which gave her a front-row seat to the joys, challenges, and considerable logistics of raising a ski family. In 2019, she turned a small Facebook group for women who loved winter into The Ski Moms, now a thriving community of more than 30,000 women.
She also co-hosts the award-winning Ski Moms Fun Podcast with Sarah Butler, sharing honest conversations, practical advice, and plenty of laughs about mountain life.
A proud late bloomer, Nicole has gone from beginner skier to logging more than 100 days on snow in a single season. She holds both alpine and Nordic passes and firmly believes skiing is one of the rare activities families can enjoy together across generations, ages, and ability levels.
When she isn’t leading a Ski Moms trip or recording the podcast, Nicole is likely exploring a new ski town, testing gear that makes mountain life easier, planning her next adventure, or cheering on the moms who make all that winter magic happen.
