Kristen Haaijer Wampold
A lifelong New England skier and experienced ski community organizer, Kristen Haaijer Wampold brings decades of ski travel and women’s ski community experience to The Retreat Co. Growing up skiing throughout New England, she later spent nearly eight years in Park City, Utah, exploring ski resorts across the Intermountain West before returning to Connecticut.
Growing up in CT, Kristen grew up skiing from a young age on all hills big and small in New England.
After 4 kids and several moves including NJ and Toronto, she accidentally found herself living in Park City, UT for almost 8 years. It was an incredible time that took her to many resorts in the intermountain West.
Eventually she returned back to New England in part to follow one of her daughter’s college ski racing adventures.
Kristen has written content and managed social media for Snowmamas, a former family ski trip planning website through Park City Mountain, and the last few years has helped plan and organize trips with The Ski Moms.
New to empty nesting, she resides in South Glastonbury, CT with her husband Mike and dog Olaf, skiing any chance she gets.
